Back Nam-gi, a farmer in his 60s who was taking part in a demonstration (or “an anti-government demonstration”) in Seoul, was knocked down by the police water cannon. Baek was immediately rushed to the Seoul National University hospital but had to undergo a brain surgery.

Newstapa-Korea Center for Investigative Journalism(KCIJ) reported on how the police used water cannon on Nov. 14.
